At the start of the new year and on the morning of January 11, 2023, the groundbreaking ceremony for Zennova Pharmaceuticals’ manufacturing plant and R&D center interior construction project was held in Chengdu Tianfu International Bio-town. The interior construction of the multi-dosage formulation center signifies that Zennova has advanced to a new stage in the process of globalization.

Zennova welcomed Mr. Li Qi, Deputy Director of Chengdu Hi-tech Industrial Development Zone Bioindustry Bureau and Deputy Director of Bio-town Management Committee, Mr. Lin Dongxu, Director of Chengdu Tianfu International Bio-town Development Group and Chairman of Bio-town Construction Company, Mr. Li Nan, Vice President of China Electronic System Technology, as well as other distinguished guests to its facility and celebrated the occasion.

“The construction will fully implement the electro-mechanical cleaning of the manufacturing plant and R&D center,” said Dahai Guo, President of Zennova Pharmaceuticals, “The capability to produce high-end drugs this year will be crucial in boosting Zennova's core competitiveness and kicking off long-term growth.”

The president spoke on Zennova's noteworthy accomplishments from the previous year, including the development of the proprietary LiquiPuls^® PMD technology platform, Zenno-01's successful submission to the FDA, and the FDA's audit of Zennova’s New York lab and its current US CMO partner. Looking ahead to 2023, he said, “The year 2023 will be groundbreaking for Zennova. A look into Zennova’s manufacturing plant and R&D center

The brand-new, one-million-square-foot Zennova factory in Chengdu features cutting-edge production capabilities. Construction for Phase 1 (500,000 square feet) consists of manufacturing, R&D, warehousing, and administrative buildings.

The interior construction project includes three stories of the formulation building and third-to-fourth floors of the R&D and Quality Assurance building.

The facility will guarantee global product and logistical quality and is anticipated to meet US FDA, EU EMA, and China’s quality standards. The facility will develop medications for China as well as other international markets and will engage in high-end CDMO businesses.
